RICHARD SMITH is an animator and artist currently based in Long Island's Nassau County, not far from New York City. A lifelong fan of animation, Richard has worked long and hard in learning to be an artist and filmmaker, applying his unique sensibilities to whatever he makes while also being willing to collaborate to make things just right. In 2019, he graduated with a BFA in Animation from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

At FIT, Richard created a charming thesis film titled Sole Mate, which was selected for ACM SIGGRAPH's MetroCAF animation festival, and it drew big laughs and applause wherever it was screened. He has since worked on a various animation projects, including boarding an adult indie pilot called The Side Hustle, while also working to further hone his craft.
